HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you would like to show your support for the museum’s ongoing research and preservation efforts, you may choose to give a small financial gift through PayPal.
Your contribution helps to cover our basic operating costs, enables us to acquire new artifacts, and to provide the very best conservation for our existing collections. As these items are now approaching or over 100 years of age, they need increasing amounts of attention and special care.
If you enjoyed browsing our virtual galleries, learned something new from our free online library, or if a member of our volunteer staff was helpful to you with a research inquiry, you may wish to send a dollar or two as a way of saying “thanks”. Your free will contribution is always appreciated and helps us to achieve our goal.
That goal is establishing a permanent place in history for Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., to ensure that film historians and fans have his work, his extraordinary life and legacy to study and enjoy for many generations to come.
You may alternatively choose to donate office/archival supplies, artifacts related to Mr. Fairbanks and/or the silent film era with prior written approval from the museum curator. Please call or drop us an email to arrange for shipping and transfer of these types of tangible gifts. A Deed of Gift receipt will be provided for your records.
Please note that gifts – whether of supplies, artifacts, or cash – are not tax-deductible on your annual tax return.
If you choose to make a small financial gift, you may do so through Pay Pal International below:

DONATE YOUR TIME AND TALENT
We are always in need of volunteers. Currently, we seek experienced writers/historians and web developers to contribute web content.
Volunteer docent positions are also available to local area residents who have an interest in film history and who can spare a few hours a week or a few hours each month.
Telecommuting is accepted for all positions except tour guides/docents. No matter where in the world you are located, you can help. Some of our most active volunteers live outside the USA!
Email your cover letter/resume to us and join our dedicated team of Fairbanks fans, historians, and volunteers.
ARTIFACT DONATIONS
If you have an artifact that you would like to donate to our growing collections, feel free to drop us a line.
We are most interested in photographs, original movie posters, films, handwritten documents or correspondence, personal effects, and other memorabilia, but will be pleased to consider any unwanted item you wish to give.
Please contact us with information about the item(s), any supporting documentation of the item’s history and/or photographs, and we will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

I like your post, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so interesting, I get sick up seeing the same old boring recycled stuff all of the time.
You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and found most people will agree with your blog.
I wanted to thank you for this brilliant post!! I absolutely enjoyed every part of it. I have bookmarked your site to
Good Web site! I wondered if I would be able quote a portion of your pages and use a few items for a term paper. Please let me know through email whether its ok or not. Thanks
This design is steller! You most certainly know how to keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
Hey are using WordPress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you need any coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be really appreciated!
